| Basic Rules of the Library Media Center | ||

Enter and leave quietly - "Walk softly, talk softly, smile VERY loud!" | |

Use paint sticks to mark your place on the shelf. | |
|
|
Check out and return books on time. You may renew as often as needed, unless another student has a hold on the material. | |
|
|
Protect your books from rain with a plastic bag inside a book bag. | |
|
|
Always bring a pass to the library. | |
|
|
Books that are lost or damaged must be paid for before children can resume checking out books. | |

Please remember to bring back your books. If you have any overdue materials you will not be allowed to check out additional books. |

The TJES
media center operates on an "open-access" circulation schedule which means
that students may visit the media center most anytime during the school day. Students may come individually, in small groups, or as a class to check out
and return materials, to read, to use research materials, to use the
computers, or to work on projects.
We encourage parents to help their children become responsible users of the library and help them recognize the importance of caring for books so that all children may enjoy them! |
