Guidance

The guidance program at Stewartsville Elementary is developmental

and includes all grade levels.  Individual and group counseling are offered

on a child, parent, or teacher referral basis.  The program also includes

classroom guidance lessons which may involve topics such as self-concept,

 organizational skills, time management skills, decision making skills, career

 awareness, coping skills, and friendships.  Individual counseling on a

regular basis requires parental permission.  The guidance counselor is

also available to parents to discuss their child's progress and special

concerns they may have.
