Description:  Eagle News Club members are responsible for broadcasting the morning announcements each school day.  They also do live broadcasts over Channel 1 closed-circuit TV on certain occasions, such as homecoming and holidays.  The club goes on field trips to TV stations and has special speakers, who present information on careers in mass media.  Members are expected to participate in fundraisers throughout the year.  Our goal this year is to purchase a tape editing machine to facilitate video taping for broadcasting. If there are enough funds, we will purchase microphones for live broadcasting.

Attention students. Eagle News is SRHS' media club. The members of this club will report Staunton River High School news through the morning announcements and special closed-circuit programming.

This year, Eagle News will be expanding the closed circuit TV program which will include live broadcasts and video segments. The profit from fund raisers will be used to purchase equipment such as an editing machine and a better camera.
