Welcome to Staunton River High’s new clinic!
Basic information:
-
The clinic is open from 8 AM to 3:30 PM every school day.
-
The telephone in the clinic is for health related calls only. Calls
must be brief due to the limited number of phone lines.

Students must bring a pass from their teacher when coming to the
clinic.
-
Permission forms for acetaminophen (generic Tylenol) and Benadryl
for emergencies are available in the clinic. Forms are good for only
one year.
-
Any student taking prescription medication at school must turn in a
medication form signed by the student’s doctor. Student’s are not to
carry any medication, prescription or over the counter, without a
form signed by the parent and approved by the school nurse.

All students must have an emergency card on file in the clinic.
-
Vision, hearing, and scoliosis screenings will be done for all tenth
grade students in September or October of each year.
-
Students with chronic health problems such as diabetes and asthma
need to notify the school nurse.
