Tours of area businesses will be offered to interested students during the Fall and Spring semesters of this school year.  This newsletter will describe one of the upcoming tours and the career paths that are available.  Students that ride buses to and from school on the tour dates.  Some tours will provide lunch and/or refreshments and all will require a signed permission slip.  Permission slips and more information are available from Mrs. Gregory and the main office.

October 19, 2010 - Tuesday, A Day:  A Tour of two companies, Andrew Corporation and Wiley and Wilson.  This will be a full school day trip and will require that student bring a bag lunch.  Lunches may be purchased from the cafeteria.  The Bedford Economic Development group will provide water and snacks.

Andrew Corporation hires engineers and engineering technicians.  These people are supported by the office staff of payroll, accounting, secretarial and maintenance.

Wiley and Wilson is an architectural firm with a variety of customers.  They do surveying for large commercial projects.  They are also supported by a staff of technicians, computer specialists and office pesonnel.

Please consider taking this tour if you are proficient in math and have in interest in one of the above fields.
