 CAFETERIA NOTES

  The prices are as follows:

· Breakfast                  .85

· Lunch w/ milk         $1.50

· Milk                           .40

· Ice Cream                  .50

· Adult Lunch            $2.25

 You may request that your child receive a full tray (entrée and all sides items) by sending in a note.  You can also specify how many treats your child is allowed to buy each week.

To help our lunch times run smoothly, we ask that you please prepay your child’s lunches by sending in a check or cash for the week or month, or paying on-line. 

 Parents are welcome to join us during lunch.  Please contact the office before 9am or send a note with your child requesting a lunch choice.  Please sign in on your arrival.  We will meet you in the front hall. Hope to see you!

Snacks

 Because we have an early lunch, students may bring their own snack from home to eat in the afternoon. Please help your child choose a healthy food item. 

 No drinks or  candy please!  Thanks for your cooperation.

School Notes

 8:20 am-3:00 pm

    Children should arrive no later than 8:20 a.m. for the start of the school day.  First load buses will be dismissed in the afternoons at 2:55 p.m., followed by car riders at 3:00 p.m., and second load buses at 3:25 p.m.

 Please remember to send in a note any time your child’s transportation home changes.

Homework

We will assign homework most school nights.  This will consist of about 15 minutes of review work or reading.  Sometimes your child will bring home a small book or a basal reader that we are using in class.  This book should be read aloud to you by your child.  Please sign the sheet enclosed indicating the pages read.  Mon.-Wed. nights students will use their blue homework notebook.  Please monitor their progress daily.  Thank you.
