School Psychologist The School Psychologist works in collaboration with parents and teachers to help children and youth succeed academically, socially and emotionally. The goal is to support optimal and healthy learning environments for all students.School psychologists work with students individually and in groups. They also develop programs to train teachers and parents about effective teaching and learning strategies as well as behavior management techniques. These specialists work with students with disabilities or special talents. They also work to prevent and manage crises. Jennifer Foust, Psy.
