Description:  The purpose of this club is to give students the opportunity to put some of their classroom learning to use outside. We will plan activities and trips that have a "naturalist" theme. Mr. Hough will try to get a night viewing organized with community resources and Mrs. Witt will plan a chemistry activity. Mrs. Cox will lead field trips on weekends in conjunction with the Central Virginia Chapter of the Virginia Master Naturalists. These are certified community volunteers, many of whom have experience working with youth on outdoor projects.

Membership to the Science Club is open to all Science students. The only fee would be to chip in for transportation related expenses.
