Forest Zone Redistricting (Elementary)

During the April 10, 2025 school board meeting, the staff were asked to propose a plan to address the current and future capacity issues in the Forest Zone elementary schools. A proposed plan was developed and presented at the May 8, 2025, school board meeting. These presentations are linked below and can also be found on board docs.

The school board will be hosting a public hearing focused on this redistricting plan on October 9, 2025, during the regularly monthly board meeting. The hearing will begin at 6:00 pm and will be located in the Jefferson Forest High School Cafeteria (1 Cavalier Circle, Forest, VA 24551). If you wish to sign up to share your concerns at the public hearing, please email the School Board Clerk, Mrs. Diana Johnson ([email protected]).
